So, after badly spraining the same bad ankle 3 times in a 3 weeks span, I decided I need to stop training and work on strengthening my ankles. So, I've been doing these ankle excercises I learned in physical therapy when I broke my ankle in 2007. I'm still walking a mile a day as well. My plan is to start running in the pool once I can afford a swimsuit that fits me.... all I have are stretched out maternity swimsuits... LOL
Anyways, this setback will keep me from running in the Londons Run, but I will be ready to run in the Pat Tillman run in April! That will be 4.2 miles! So, the journey goes on!

Yay Maurine -- you're just like the Energizer Bunny. Even through mud, hail, snow, and blazing heat, you keep going. Or is that the Postal Service? Keep with the therapy -- it's really going to help.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work Maurine, you can do it! I do a body works class once a week that is really great at strengthening support muscles to help prevent (exercise or other) injury, it is great! I'm sure they offer it there at Lifetime. How are the migraines? I sure hope they have let up. Did the test results come back? I hope you're ok!
